Hi. I was declared bankrupt on the 7th August this year and still feel very vulnerable to everything it involves although I kno. it is the right way forward in my circumstances. i am in the unusual position that I live in Eire half the week but work in the UK. Due to this I have to have two vehicles. My children and hubby live in Eire so they use and have the family car and the relevant costs associated with it. I use an old banger over here and ofcourse the secondary costs here associated with that. I also have the costs of the flights to and from Ireland to get to work. My question to you is , having had the official receivers interview, i now have to justify those costs associated with the car in Eire, because Im not using it for my work, and also the costs of my travel with the OR possibly seeing taht these costs are what they deem 'non essential'. I have to write a report on this and request your advice in how I maintain keeping both as ESSENTIAL items? Please help as I could not afford to pay what they would call a disposable amount .
