How much would i have to pay, if only receiving Job Seekers Allowance £124 per fortnight at the moment to the Court?

Hi Pauldpn80,

If it's income based JSA, then the fee will be £525.

The fee for bankruptcy would have to be paid to the court when you petition.

Once you are declared BR then you will have an interview with the Official Receiver and they will go through your I&E with you. It maybe that you don't have to pay anything if you have no disposable income.

Hi Paul, do you mean for the court fee? As Niobe has said, you can't pay in installments, you have to pay the full fee to the court on the day you go to court. You won't get an income payment agreement if you are on JSA but will have your income and expenditure assessed if you start working during the year you are bankrupt.
