Fingers crossed - sounds as though it is going to be ok.
Don;t forget to print off the 'Discharged' page once it changes.

Hi, good luck for the 8th. Ive been discharged 9 months now, had no ipa and heard nothing from OR. I did have to phone hmrc to get my tax code reverted back to normal as it didnt happen automatically as suggested but only took a minute. |

Only a few hours to go now, still no word from the OR ..... i'd stay up until midnight to see my discharge notice pop up on the register except that i have to be up at 5am for work, so i'll have to pass on that!
Just to sum up my (relatively painless) experience.... 1/ Completed forms and declared myself bankrupt at my local court on 8 May 2012 2/ Shortly after, i was contacted by the OR and had a 1 hour interview over the phone 3/ Told by OR that i would be given a NT tax code and would pay any tax due on my wages to Moonbeever until April, 2013 (no mention of ipa, etc) 4/ March, 2013.....Informed by Moonbeever that they had concluded my dealings with them and that my file was being passed back to the OR. 5/ Nothing heard since from the OR. 6/ 12 more hours to go for my automatic discharge!
Hope this helps
Cheers for everyones help. |

If you've heard nothing by now then you should be fine - just check before you go to work in the morning.

It's all over. As Niobe says check it in the morning and you'll see discharged. 11 hours to go! :)
I was discharged on the 2nd as you know. Today I got a new tax code from the IR so for me everything is back to normal
My experience was sort of like yours but with no IPA. I heard nothing from months 4-12 from the OR.
Agree with Niobe sounds like the magic is going to happen at midnight and you'll be free :) |
