Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you pay her and she pays it on to the finance company then you will find that you are not allowed to continue to pay for it.

How much is the car worth?

I was declared Bancrupt in 2010, I had a car on finance in my fathers name and they allowed me to keep my car and included it in my outgoings. The reson was I needed the car for work, the guy I dealt with said this is quite common. My car year was 2002 and about a years finance lef, not sure if this came into the equation.

Hope that helps.

Hopefully it may be ok but don't forget that BR rules have been tightened up since 2010. It will be down to the individual OR.

The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant
