I thought you were living in a house with your girlfriend? Has something changed?

The friend in my adversity I shall always cherish most. I can better trust those who helped to relieve the gloom of my dark hours than those who are so ready to enjoy with me the sunshine of my prosperity. – Ulysses S. Grant

The address that you have to use is called the centre of your main interest.(COMI)

The address or location that you have predominantly lived within for the last 6 months is called the COMI.

How do you assess what is COMI, correspondence address for mail, passport storage, the address you sleep, signing on address, it is really down to you to produce documentary evidence to support a claim for COMI

the courts have quite strict guidelines for allowing someone to petition for BR within their court durastriction, if they are not happy they will not allow you to petition

if you have lived rough for the past 6 months and are not working the court will recognise agreements made with Benefits agency for a "floating address"

if you are working they will want an address.

alas some in the past have decide to put No fixed abode address in order to try and beat the system. The OR needs to have contact with you to carry out its full responsibility
