Hi Carole,

If you mean from the OR, possibly, if there are assets and he/she knows where the fee came from.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You could phone the OR and ask if you are likely to get it back.

if you paid the bankrupty fee to the court on behalf of AN other. The fee was paid before the bankruptcy order was made .. sorry but you will be classified as another creditor. you will only get back pro roster the same as any other creditor amd that depends on any assets in the pot..

an other technically cannot pay you back as that is showing preferential treatment to a creditor over another.

if you are asking about the court redemption fee. you would have needed to complete a court ex 160 (?)within 6 months of the court date. a refund of court fees (£150) is issued at the discretion of the court that the petition was made.

Good Luck Richard,

I know someone who did get the fees back from the OR so yes, there is a chance it might happen.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.
