Hi there and welcome to the forum

Your parents assets will be sage from your bankruptcy, but their address will be publicly confirmed as your address on your application and the subsequent newspaper advertisement.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com

Thank you for rapid response. So my parents assets will be safe but there address will be linked to me. Is there a way for them to avoid this? Once the address is given as my address will that cause problems for my parents to receive credit etc.?

Hi MJ and welcome to the forum.

This can be easily rectified by filing a Notice of Disassociation with the credit reference agencies (see their websites for further information on how this is done).
