Hi,

I'm new here and at the end of my tether -

My IVA has moreless failed but My IVA company are waiting for EIC (a company that looks for claims for any missold PPI )Its really annoying as i am 99.9% sure i wasnt missold any. They will not issue my Termination Certificate and I just want to go ahead and declare myself bankrupt -

This is all as a result of losing my job last year and accumilating external credit of around £1k who are also chasing me as well as the remainder of what's left of my ivA which is about )11.5k. Now im in no position to pay hence wanting to declare myself bankrupt.

My IVA company say that they have Asked EIC to prioritise my case but ive heard this can go on for months.

Can i just go ahead and declare myself bankrupt without a termination certificate? Is there a kind of loophole to get me around this because i am so sure its just a big waste of time as im almost certain i never had any missold PPI!

It's really bringing me down and my IVA company don't exactly seem to be wanting to co-operate except say I have to just wait for the EIC company to get back to me and finish what they need to do. And I now have external debtors chasing me.

Any info would be a great help, as it's starting to really bring me down.. :(

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum, sorry to hear of your problems.

Speak to your local BR court to see if they will allow you to declare bankruptcy without a termination letter as it does sometimes happen.

I'd also recommend speaking to a BR expert - we have a couple who post on here. The advice is free.
