 Just declared bankruptcy. Will I lose savings in rent to official receiver ?

I have just declared myself bankrupt,i am in rented accomodation and just been asked by a friend if i would like to move in as a house share, this would mean i am paying a lot less out each month...will i however lose this all to the official reciever???

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Your payments to the OR will depend upon your disposable income per month after your normal bills have been paid. If it is more than £20 a month then you will have to pay the lot across for three years which will include any savings in rent.
