I have been going through the mountain of papers i have been ignoring and have realised that I have not paid my National insurance; I am self employed. Given that I'm struggling to raise the BR fee as it is should I include this debt on my SOA or get it paid at some point?? I also noticed that on my last tax return (06/07) I showed a loss of £2700 and there was actually an income tax overpayment of £100 as well.

Not the best time to be self employed!

Yes - include the unpaid National Insurance as a creditor.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com

Hi Porcorosso,

Any money owed to the Crown (tax, NI, etc) can be included and written off in a BR.
