I was left money in a will Feb 2015 discharged April 2015.will not receive it until 2016 it was claimed by the o/r I paid money to my creditors for the 12 months bankruptcy from April 2014.There are so many conflicting views on this subject.
I imagine that it is because the inheritance became due whilst you were undischarged and so therefore it will be due to your creditors.
Hopefully Viki can come along and clarify.

Any inheritance that was going through prior to your bankruptcy, or during your bankruptcy is claimed by the OR regardless of when it's actually paid to you.
Money I was left in a will is being claimed by the OR. So many conflicting views on this.
