You will also have signed 2 forms shortly after the br - sent by the OR's office.
The first one gives the OR authority to speak to the Tax office and see if you are due a rebate.

the right thing to do is not spend the money and let them know asap. They will see this as positive behavour from you and will put you in a better position re early discharge etc - as you have cooperated with the OR.

It is likely that the rebate will be sent to the OR directly in any case, but it is rightly payable to the Trustee as a debt due to you at the date of the bankruptcy order.
