Hi,

I petitioned for Bankruptcy on 16th June, which was granted, since then things have gone well, however recently I have been given a NT tax coding, and have to day received a letter from the OR asking me to sign a IPA for £216 per month until the end of the tax year, my question is that I think this is a little to high and believe it should be nearer to the £180 per month mark, is there any point in asking for it to be reduced?

Regards

Delboy

Hi Delboy
Welcome to the forum
If you can evidence the fact that without the NT tax code your current income would be subject to £180 per month tax then, yes I would point this out to the OR, submit copies of the supportive evidence and ask them to review it.

Assisting where I can.
