Before we file for BR end of this week, I am going to withdraw approx remaining £1k from current account to meet our bills, council tax and living expenses for the remainder of the month. Do i put this amount on the section 'cash' and where on the form do i explain why i have this (do i do a breakdown eg. £400 food, £160 petrol, £115 council tax etc.)
Many thanks for any help.

Hi
once the cash is withdrawn there is not a specific section on the SoA which allows you to explain why unless you used section 13 for additional information.
Alternatively, at interview you could explain that the withdrawal has been made and where the monies will be directed. It won't be a problem.

So do i declare this amount in the assets - cash section? or do i state 'none', dont want the OR to think that i have cash as an asset for the creditors as it is for living expenses post BR.

Hi
you state "none" as the SoA should be representative of your situation on the day you submit your forms to the court.
The only way the OR will pick it up is if he sees the statement which lists the transaction so it is as well to explain in advance during your interview.
