Hi all,

is it advisable to have the last salary before going BR, paid into someone elses bank account a few days before going BR, just so that I can set up DD for gas/electricity etc from this account?

Hi
if you are unable to time your BR for a day or two after you're paid then your suggestion would be a wise alternative.

I would get it paid into someone else's account if I were you - just in case.

There are a lot of posts on here about bank accounts, all with different views, always choose the safe option - i.e. get it paid into someone else's account, as it is much easier to sort that out than having to "unfreeze" an account....

Thanks
