Hi s01 & welcome to the forum
if you've just come through bankruptcy and are now discharged, may I ask whyyou would want to pay creditors?
Particularly as your having to sell the property to do it.

Hi
now I understand, it was you and your wife selling the property that confused me.
Your wife is entitled to write to the trustee and make a proprietary claim on the equity.
Your wife would need to have made financial contribution to the household via,
a) contributions to the mortgage payments
b) contributions to the utility bills
c) contributions to household improvements / extensions etc.
and these contributions need to be evidenced which can be done via bank statements or by showing your lack of affordability to have met these payments through your sole income.
Dependent on the level of her contributions, it's possible to claim up to 50%. You would need to act quickly.
