Hi,

I am completing my SOA, please could you let me know what you think of my expenditure? I am a single person, living in London.

rent 347
housekeeping 300
travel 110
clothes 45
phone 40
Haircut 10
course stationary and books 20
course fees 59
family bd and xmas gifts 10
modest holiday 25
Laundry 25
medicine/dentist/opticians 30
tv license 12
Total 1033

Monthly income £1,130

It looks okay, but if it were me then I would add like some contingency money, say £20 pm. What about water rates and insurance, do you have any of these or council tax? The reason I say this is because they may cut the housekeeping and then this would then cause you to have an IPA on what is already a rather tight budget/income.

rent includes water rates, c.tax, electric, gas etc. I don't have contents insurance as there's nothing worth insuring!

Will add contingency.

I know!

The rent hasn't gone up in 2 years although I'm a bit worried they might increase it soon due to increase in gas / electric prices.
