as of 10.04 this morning i was declared BR and as of 10.05 my husband was declared. a little nervous as we didnt have a certificate of failure from his IVA company but he did have a letter stating it was to fail. didnt have to see a judge, only scary thing was how many people were there doing the same thing. just got to get through the OR interviews now and tell the parents. a big thanks to the forum as without it i would have been in bits this morning, it REALLY isnt that bad getting through the court bit. |

Hi Rollercoaster and your OH, Well done on you both, see it was not as scary as we thought it would be. Like John said welcome to your new debt free life and being able to live again. Take care, good luck with your interview, we have not had our packs yet or an interview date, but I dare say it wont be long. Take care Jo PS: I applied to Co-op on Monday just after the hearing and was provisionally accepted for the Cashminder account, today I received my welcome pack and all details for the account. So good luck to those who need an account as I did not think I would get one and now I have it will make life easier for me as i can keep an eye on it online now.

I am more worried about the OR interview, but we popped across after the hearing and dropped in loads of info. The OR said they have no interest in our cash minder account and its up to the bank. tried to log on a minute ago and it didn't work so they acted quick. going to contact them on Monday like the OR advised and see if we allowed to keep it, if not, the OR knows about all payments expected into the co op and said they will release the money as they know when its going in and how much. strangely, i just picked up a phone call for my OH from MBNA??? They are not one of his creditors and he been in IVA since April so don't know what they want. Just want to get rest over with, find out how much (IPO) and how long (BRU) good luck to everyone. I will keep posting and sharing our experience. I saw my sister after the BR and said to her "do i look any different" she was confused until i told her what we had done that morning.lol. She turned to me and said one of her friends did it the day before and another last week, she then told me of 2 more friends that are in trouble and they are now speaking with me about their worries and options (DMP,IVA, BR), my sister paid off and cut up all her cards, so my experience is helping others in a positive way. |
