I have been told by my OR that I can't pay off any of my debts until I can pay them all in full.
But what would happen if friends or relatives paid some of them them off.
Would I be held responsible and be seen as not c-operating with the OR.

Hi notsleeping
IPA's can be on a lump sum basis and from monies introduced by a 3rd party, but the OR has to oversee this now you are BR as he would calculate the pro rata payments to creditors AFTER his own fees are satisfied.
Any such payment forms part of the estate which vests with the OR and not yourself is another reason why he would have to administer it all.
