hi one of my debters want to make me bankrupt and i know that if you work you still have to pay so much back how much and over how long.
i'm a sinle parent who works 15 hours a week and all benifits intottal will bring in apporx £800 p/m

firstly I should say that a lot of creditors threaten bankruptcy but the total cost to a creditor is around £2K so they don't unless they have to.

It's cheaper for them to try with bailiff's first to see what assets you have.

It's not if you work that you have to pay back.
It's what you have left over from your income and benefits once all your basic living expenses are covered. At £800 per month as a single parent I would doubt you would pay anything provide you have your own home and not living with parents.
