Hello - I am filing for BR shortly after which I plan to move abroad within the EU as I have found work there (self employed). My question is should I try to buy the ferry tickets I need before I file for BR or will the OR allow me to buy them out of my final salary from here? I am very worried about what the OR will think about me moving abroad and what restrictions he may be able to place on me. Many thanks for your help
Hi I would buy the tickets in advance provide you don't plan to use credit. If you have the funds and have not purchased the tickets at the time of BR then you should disclose the money on your SoA. If you don't it's perjury and if you do the OR may claim it.
