I know this may be a silly question but I was made BR last April and everything has been going well, maybe too well! Prior to BR I opened a Nationwide Basic Account The OR unfroze it 2 days after my BR and I have been using it ever since paying in salary etc and using the cash card. I have just heard that they no longer accept undischarged bankrupts. Doeas this mean I am likely to be receiving a letter closing my account? or is this only for new applications The account is fine in all respects at the moment.

I have a Nationwide account that I opened last may when they were still accepting undischarged bankrupts and I've had no problems with it. I phoned and asked them (anonymously!) if they would close accounts when they changed their policy and they said if the account is being run correctly they had no plans to.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.
