hiya i am on job seekers and dla higher care and lowe mobility i recently had to leave my job and home due to a crisis am 6 month pregnant on my own have been told to go bankrupti owe 13 ground will my creditors demand my dla as payment for my debts will judge demand i pay my debts wiv my dla do i have to disclose my dla i was told dla is not means testid benifit do i have to prove what i spend my dla on ?

Hi stacey
neither DLA or mobility allowance is considered as income that can be subject to an income payment order although you must disclose them when you go bankrupt. If these are your only forms of income then bankruptcy would wipe out the £13K with no repayments to make in the future.
