Hi i'm Andrew and a new member.
My situation is that myself and my girlfriend bought a house 11 months ago and now I am roughly ten thousand pounds in negative equity. I have not been able to afford everything on our salaries so i've been subsidising my income with credit cards. I now owe around twelve thousand on cards and they are both maxed to their limits. I have not paid any money to my creditors for 6 months now as i simply cannot afford it. I missed one mortgage payment back in Feb but have been paying back £50 a month to clear the arrears so apart from that my mortgage is up to date. We do not have a life at all and both want rid of our house altogether, as we are moving back to our respective parents houses. My girlfriend's only debt is the mortgage as i did not tell her i got behind on my cards until recently. Our relationship is failing because of all the stress and we feel bankruptcy is our only option. Can anyone give me some advice??? Please!!!

Hi Andrew
I'm not sure exactly what, in particular, you want advice on.

Could you post again with one or two questions per post and I'll answer as accurately as I can.
