Hi
I've been discharged for about a year now & currently have a Halifax Easycash account. It's great as it allows me to have a Visa Electron card + online banking. However I did recently try to upgrade it to a high interest current account but was turned down due to being BR. Does this mean I'll have to stick with this account for the next 5 years until the BR is wiped from my credit history?

Plus has anyone managed to obtain a credit card since being discharged? I'm familiar with Vanquis but the interest rates are horrendous!!

Thanks!
