Hi everyone! I have mentioned this in the past but wondered if anyone could add their thoughts to my query.... My IVA was recorded correctly on the Insolvency Service Regiser up to going BR. It is now listed in a completely different area/court with a different ref number!! My BR has not been listed at all! If you recall I am the person who didn't have her BR announced in the local press so I am wondering if this has prevented my BR being recorded on the register. Howver, it doesn't explain why my court details etc are now incorrect for my IVA. Any thoughts??? Should I just leave it and enjoy being anonymous a bit longer!!

The only problem with that is you won't be able to print the details of your discharge from the Insolvency Register, so you'll have to pay for the certificate from the court...

That's true Skippy! My discharge is hopefully next month - then I need to get my head around contacting the credit ref agencies. I have already disassociated myself from my husband - so to speak! The strange thing is, when I was looking into going BR I was approached by a company who support (take lots of money off you!) through BR and they had the same court details as is now held on the register! Maybe there are two of me!

When I checked my Callcredit file I noticed I was bankrupt twice - once at Kingston upon Thames (correct) and once at Warwick! They were both on the same date with the same reference number...

I reckon the insolvency service and credit ref agencies must have a lot on at the minute and making the odd mistake! I just have to say Skippy you are the reason I have involved myself in this forum. You were one of the first people to respond to my posts back in March this year when I was deciding to go BR. Nice to hear from you!

Hi Vicki,
Perhaps you should contact the OR and make them aware. Best to appear to cooperate fully as they'll make your life easier in the long run.
