i would just like to thank those who gave me sound advice, the helpline were fast to answer me and realy put my mind at ease, i have an appt on tues to put my br petition into action. just one more question when i do go bankrupt has anyone got the right to approach my partner for anything at all? thanks a bunch to you all.

your OH cannot be approached by creditors unless any of the borrowings are in your joint names.
