You said previously about putting the mortgage if you stopping making payments in both the secured and unsecured parts of the form so the shortfall is captured. How would you know how much the shortfall is opr would you just put what the figures are currently?
Thanks in advance... |

Hi you can put 0 if you want, just need to ensure you write shortfall in the reason for debt column.
As you say, you can't possibly know what the figure is going to be. The OR will have seen this many times before.

Hi GT
Sorry just put kids to bed etc so only just got back on.
John has answered that for you, i however wrote the whole value of the mortgage and also the redemption figure as whe i went to type 0 it would not let me.
As for your other question about rent you could leave it blank and just inform the OR when you have yourself sorted.
Hope this helps,
Jo x

thanks jo,
I have put the amount owing in the secured part which is £152,000 and house was valued in April at £145,000, so I have put £7000 in the unsecured part of the form is this right?
As regards the rent if I put in a figure of 0 for rent/mort it may well mean i get an IPA but when i have to move into rented it would give me a DI of less than £100 would this be do able to reduce your IPA after the event to possibly 0?
thanks again |

Hi folks, Just read this and was wondering....
I put the mortgage in the unsecured list and added the early repayment charge in too but just wrote 'mortgage on home' in the reason for debt column. I didn't mention shortfall in the reason for debt column.
Will this be a problem? I've already submitted the form and got my court date for the 16th September.

Hi GP
Not sure, maybe John can answer that one if not mention it to the OR when you have your interview.
I expect it will all be ok though.
Try not to worry and good luck for the 16th. :-)

Hi
the fact that the property is listed in the unsecured section will be enough to have the shortfall included but I would make a point of explaining your intention at your interview.
