hi my partner is considering bankrupcy as her debts are bad(25-30k) we have 2 cars both registered in her name both are on finance agreements 1 in her name 1 in mine but the log books are both in her name mainly because it made our insurance a lot cheaper as i have only been driving for 2 years , i am paying for one of the cars all the finance is in my name will i lose my car as it is her name on the log book any help would be great many thanks justin
Hi as the finance is in your name the car belongs to you. The V5 registration is irrelevant but your partner will have to evidence your finance agreement for your car to the OR.
