Well we went BR on Monday at 10.45, everything went straight forward, I would like to thank everyone on this site for the great advice I would also like to thank Paul Johns of Reviva UK for his help,advice and support. Sorry I havn't been on for a few days, we have two new additions to the household and they have got me knacked!!
we have finally named them as angel (she has markings of wings on her back) and smudge. Not my choice!!
I'm at work at the minute and have a bit of spare time so I'm catching up on the threads

Not as bad as I thought, hubby has just been on the phone letters have arrived for telephone interview for next Friday, I would of been sooner but hubby is away on a training course for three days next week.
If I was honest I don't think it has really hit me yet that we are actually BR, the funny thing is the phone has never rang since Tuesday, I keep picking it up to see if it is working!! I really was wishing certain companies would ring (the ones that were horrible to me) so I could give them the BR No, but they havn't dammmmmmmmm!!

I 2nd that, i had forgotten how to have a decent conversation, instead of
"No sorry I cant pay anything, give me a few days, blah, blah, blah"
Its great now. I am so glad that I did the deed. Thanks to all the guys and galls on here for getting me through it. :-)

I had a record 33 calls today! Can anyone top that? AND I went BR 2 weeks and 2 days ago!

OMG! TD, that is unbeleivable, dont they take "Im BR now" as an answer.
These credit places, whilst i know they must try and get the money back are the bain of our lives.
Have you thought about changing your number, only a thought, they should calm down soon.
I called all my creditors the day we went BR and informed them, so about once a week now, and its 6 weeks on for us i get a letter, but thats about it now, thank god.
Good luck with it all, how is the course going.

I have had 2 calls so far from credit card companies because the direct debits have not gone through, (first missed payments) Told them we were BR and both were very appologetic, said they would change thier records and would not contact us again. |

Hi TD,
The next time they phone, you can tell them their behaviour is classified as harrassment which is a criminal offence under Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970.
