I went bankrupt on thursday 11/09.Arrived at court at 9am and was first on list.Got called at 9.30 and the man checked my form and took my money and then said that it could be a long wait as the judge was busy until 11.30.As it was only had to wait until 10.45 and the usher came out and gave me my order and that was that.I felt a huge sense of relief. The OR called on friday morning and said interview on thursday 18/09.He said he had no interest in bank account and would be writing to the coop.I also made him aware that I was doing a voluntary repossesion and was moving out to scotland on 22/09 and he said that was fine.

One piece of advice ,when we go through my expenses what is the best course of action because I did my expenses as they are now but from next week they are going to change dramatically ie mortgage/rent down from around 1300.00 to 550.

I would like to say a big thankyou for all the brilliant advice I have received on here.

Hi Nicola

That is great news and im so happy that you have found this site so helpfull.

Just be honest with the OR about your expenses as these can change throughout the time that you are classed as BR and also if you end up paying an IPA.

Good luck with your new debt free life and also with your new life in bonnie scotland. :-)
