Well, what a day!!
Had the (first) OR interview today as most of you know.
Started at 9.30am and finished at 5.00pm!!!!!!!!!
Is this a record?
I was allowed an hour off over lunch for good behaviour
The OR was REALLY nice and understanding, (as everyone on here has said) there really is no need to worry. Went through EVERYTHING on the SOA and the sequence of events leading up to our BR. (to be fair we have been a very complicated case)
Now got to wait for them to write to us for more information and they say it is highly likely that I will be asked back for another interview!!!!
We are just glad that it has happened so quickly as the stress is now declining slowly.
When we left the OR did say that we should both go home and have a glass of wine to celebrate the start of our lives!!
Have taken her literally !!! hic!

I doubt if we will get IPA etc. They said they need to revisit the forms and get the calculator out when thier mind is not as boggled!!! (I did say we were a rather complicated case) 7 houses and 3 Ltd companies!!! They are to write to us probably at the end of the week for whatever info they need and then take things from there.

Hi HM

I had expected your interview to be quite long. Mine was 3 hours and I only had one business (partnership) and the wife didn't have to go BR.
But then that was mostly because I wouldn't shut up! (Not something I encourage clients to do!)

I'm really pleased that all went well so far now you can relax a little.(although from your posts your probably half way to being as "relaxed" as a newt by now).....to new beginnings!!!

Keep us informed and enjoy the break.

Thanks for the kind words John. I think the DOT did the trick. (I owe you one) If there is anything I can do for you or this site then just let me know.
