Hi, I went BR on 1st Sept and my OR meeting is on 7th Oct. I am still receiving payment demands and had doorstep collectors around. Is it the OR's office who lets them know about the BR or is it me? Also has anyone seen the OR in Cambridge and if so what was he like (Mr Meynell). Thanks

Hi

The OR will inform your creditors when they send them the report of the bankruptcy, but this will not be until after the meeting. You can let your creditors know as and when they call, they just need to be given the court name and number.

Hi Maz,

I have previously dealt with the OR office in Cambridge (although not with that examiner). I found them extremely courteous, professional and helpful.
