i am thinking of going for bankruptcy as i am not working i haven't worked for a year now due to family problems and do not own my own property, it is council. I have 2 children and am a single parent. one of my creditors has written to say that are about to lodge a claim form/summons with hull county court, What does this mean and does this mean i will not be successful when i go to the royal courts of justice to file for bankcrupcy. getting very worried as this is the 3rd letter i have had from 3 seperate creditors.
Hi the letters could mean anything as they are not specific as to what type of claim they are making. They could mean that they are pursuing a CCJ against you but you will be notified if that is the case. In any event your plan to declare BR at the RCoJ will not be affected.
What does this mean ?
