hi all
after i went br on 25th sept i spent the afternoon calling all my creditor's and giving them the br no. mostly just out of a feeling that they had a right to know straight away,(when i had done what i had told them i would)on thursday this week i had three phone calls from one creditor whom had been informed of my br and letters from two more dated after the 25th all of them worded as if i had said nothing too them at all,i called each of them and each demanded that i send a copy of the br certificate to their respective depts,i argued that i had already informed them, at least one of the girls on the phone was adament that i was breaking the law if i did not send the documents by which stage i was getting really angry and i told her i did not have to inform them at all at that if they continued to contact me after this call they were the one's breaking the law. now i am worried the or will think i was trying to cause trouble of some sort (i have interview tomorrow and am very worried about all aspect's of that)and also that what i told them was wrong,i was very sure at the time but now i wish i had just no bothered to speak to any of them, should i now just send the copies and tell the or that i have done it.

Hi Eamonn
No your not wrong but technically now all dealings are to be done by your OR thats what they are paid to do.

I would either not call the creditors, then send letters to the OR anything you get like i have done.

If they do pester you when they call you give them a false telephone contact number that way they wont be able to get hold of you. I gave all of mine my old disconnected mobile so they cant get hold of me now.

I would not worry you havent done anything wrong. Just ignore them and try and put them to the back of your mind.

Best of luck
