ok, so i managed to open a basic co op acc. y/day thanks to advice from here. I wont get the details of new acc. until 24th but pension people need new details by 22nd and wont send giro instead, so i have the option of freeze/suspend payment for this month (then wont get anything til end Nov.) or just hope that i can access froz account with receivers permission? - would they let me become homeless and starve?
I havent even filed the forms to court yet as an angel from heaven at citizens advice is checking them (im sure i made mistakes - so much repitition)
I havent even phoned incapacity benefit or dla people as i feel defeated again and so im back here to ask what you think.
If i suspend the payments i will be in trouble, if i dont i will be in trouble
any comment gratefully accepted

hi useless
i went br on the 25th sept and my acc with natwest has not yet been frozen but the manager at the branch said it would be so i have been able to use it still, i contacted the dla, incapacity, child tax credit, income support, and child benefit, some of whom have implamented the change, some have not but have still put it in old acc.to be more positive when i got my co-op acc they gave me the sort code and acc no. on the phone about 2 days later so if you were to ring them with all your imfo they may be able to give you your nos.so then you could inform your pension supplier,i hope allthat helps

Hi Useless

You may be better calling some of them and getting the other benefits as giros until you sort them out and like eamonn has said you should get your account details in 2 days and then that should give you enough time to start payments elsewhere.

I had almost all my benefits paid as giros till my account was sorted only 1 was on hold and that was child benefit.

Take care

hi
if you can wait till you get your nos.from the co-op then when you ring the dla,ib is ctc,etc all you asking for is a change to your bank account and that is something they do all the time you do not need to explain anything to them just ask them to change your details,
