Hi, is the main bank accounts recommended after BR, the cash card only from abbey, co-op and barclays? any other banks anyone knows of?

I read here the other day that someone managed to get a basic account with Alliance and Leicester which is also part of Abbey.

Hi Mac

You can open a Think Bank account after BR as i did this.

They dont do credit checks and to be honest i think its better to open new accounts after BR as then you dont have the worry of them being frozen when you declare yourself BR.
