Hi, sorry if this question has been covered before, I can't find it if it has!

I am opening a Co-Op cashminder account but they are also a creditor listed in my recent BR. Is it safe for me to put money in this account or will they be able to seize it?

hi nowayout

I would say as a rule to try not to open bank accounts where your creditors may be linked, but saying that they should not take monies from your new account to pay old debts you had with them.
Just to be on the safe side i would try Abbey basic or Halifax and see, but like i have said they should not be able to do that.

LOL
