I think they are rushed off their feet at the moment, so I wouldn't worry, have just seen the Panorama programme and they reckon 301 people a week are going BR!

I would not worry.I had my interview on 18/09 and was getting worried that the letter had not arrived confirming that the car and household goods were exempt but thank god arrived yesterday. It is just cause they are swamped.

Hi Moneyworries

Everything that they will need at the time of the interview will be on your SOA anything else they need to know they will ask you.

As we have all said i would not worry, i know it is easy for me to say as i have been there done that but try to put it to the back of your mind and forget about it.

Be open and honest and if asked something your not sure off just explain, your not on trial.

Best of luck

Take Care

Hi Jenny,
I think all offices must work differently. Went BR last Thursday, spoke to OR on phone last Thursday. In fridays post was several letters requesting 12 months credit card and bank statements and had to fill out and sign tnids and ntb2 forms. Also wanted cut up cards and cheque books. All of this had to be posted back to be received by 15th which was day before interview!
It was a bit of a nightmare i can tell you, but we did it over the weekend and sent it recorded delivery on Monday. I tracked and traced it through pot office and they got it Tuesday. It cost £16 though!

However saying all that, people on here have interview with nothing received. The OR asked us for the last date that credit cards was used and why we took out loans on certain dates etc. You will be fine but just get as much info before you as you can. Good luck Jenny.

Hi No Tracy

Your are right that straight after BR you are sent a welcome pack with bits to sign and also they ask in there for other information like credit card statements, loan agreements, copies of utility bills etc as they usually ask that they are sent before interview.

I was asked on the Friday before to send these things and was told of the time and date of my interview and my examinerr saiad she would send this letter out explaining what they need and could i send it back when i could.

I received this on the Saturday and my interview was the Tues so i had to get it back in the post that day so that they had it in time, she did mention to me that it did not matter if they did not get it on time it just makes life easier.

For us from the date of BR to the interview we had 8 days.
