I finally went bankrupt on 20th October. Most of my time in court was spent hanging around and then waiting to see the judge. In total it took around 4 hours sitting around. For anyone who's waiting for their court date to come round, try not to worry too much about this as there is very little to it. If you have to see the judge, then all he does his confirm that you have had advice before making the decision to go bankrupt.

I am still waiting a phone call from the OR office. They told me in court that they usually phone just to confirm your details 3HRS after, but as of today 22nd October still heard nothing. I would imagine they are really busy.

Still got the interview to come and I am a bit nervous about this, but I have nothing to hide so I will just get on with it.

This site has been a great help to me, and it is good to share your experiences with others who have similar problems.

I will keep you posted on how my interview goes. Although I am no expert on bankruptcy and everyone's circumtances are different. I do feel after all this I may be able to share my experience, and offer some advice to people who may be worried and thinking about going bankrupt.

Hey Debtrider

Well done on that part and thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

The OR as you pointed out must be busy and so they wont forget and will contact you to arrange your interview etc.

Please do keep us informed and most of all, enjoy your new debt free life!

:-)

Take Care
