OMG OR called today - only decared BR at 12.50pm yesterday!!!

He seems very nice - said not to blame ourselves as we did not make OH redundant. Wanted more details of Mortgage company and took their telephone number- Oh them he said when I gave details (advantage -morgan stanley) Had a good old chat!! He talked about house prices in our area being to high and wages being to low. He asked if OH had gone BR and said that he had not had his papers through yet and that he should have had them with mine. He asked about our credit cards etc and seemed pleased we had not ran them up to their limits - said he was looking at people who go out and spend spend spend prior to BR. THEN The phone at work ran out of battery!!!! - he called back and said to give him a call when I got home - he needed to go through all the standard stuff etc. I tried calling but they are closed till Monday (and after he told me he would be there till 6pm)

He seems ok - I could be wrong - but we will see!! Fingers crossed!!!

Hi Dee

That sounds promising then. Make sure you do get back to him on Monday and let us know what happens.

Our OR was quite nice too, they have a job to do i know but i was so nervous until i spoke to the examnier and she made the appt, then we had a chat and it cleared the air.

Best of luck

Thanks all

We would not have got through things without this site. I feel like I am among friends.

Oh one other thing the OR asked about our bank account - said he was not interested in the Nationwide one we recently opened - I told him it would not take DD and he said you never know you may be able to use it as a savings account and manage to save a little each month if the bank let you keep it. I told him we were waiting for a co op cashminder account to come through and that coop told us it had been approved - he said that was fine and did not ask for the account number etc.

The coop welcome pack came this morning - a week after we called them.

Hey Dee

Thats great news also. The coop are very good and it also sounds like you had a nice examiner/OR too.

Maybe you could put a little in the nationwide account for your emergencies each month as you never know, thats assuming that Nationwide dont close it of course, but you may be ok with it staying oopen.

Fingers crossed and all that.:-)

Jo
