I am separated with three children 2 of which are none dependants. My ex partner was the main breadwinner, Most of the debt is in my name apart from mortgage and one load which are joint. My outgoings only meet half of my outgoings we have 82000 pound mortgage and cannot bear to loose my home. What could i do to avoid loosing my home?

Hi Louiseg and Welcome to you

Have you thought about an IVA or DMP.

How much equity is in your home, as in how much is the house worth compared to how much is actually owed to the mortgage provider.

What are your outgoings and what do you have left per month after paying your essential items like mortgage, food, electric etc but not including the debts.

Thanks

Jo

Hi Louise

as Jo says, more detail of your circumstances is needed to judge whether or not it is practical for you to expect to keep your home if declaring bankruptcy.
