Hi
what form does your offer of 50% payment take? I have experienced many in similar circumstances having a lesser percentage settlement figure accepted, and recently.

Hi
as posted in your other question - there may be other solutions so it is certainly worth a conversation with a specialist who could review the situation for you.

the offer of 50% was made to all the credit card and hp companies. i telephoned them all and told them of my situation, asked them would they accept 50% one off payment for cancellation of any remaining balance because as i have no income, if i was to go bancrupt i would not be in a position to make any payments towards my debts..none of the companies where interested..i've been told this is because they have insurance for such situations..i dont no..i no that i havent helped my self, but i look at the current financial situation, the bail out of the banks..but what help does the man on the street get..all my credit card companies have done is raise my credit limit, the benefits system doesnt want to know..i may sound bitter,calous..wotever...but y should i worry myself sick when i offer to pay something and i'm told...'no thanks' |

Often you will find that they take offers more seriously when a third party is involved .
