I have had 2 clents who haven't had a phone interview and have gone straight to the I&E review questionaire at 5 - 6 months.

Not sure if they were too busy, forgot, or that the cases were so straight forward and all the info presented that they didn't need to call,

Thanks Paul,
Its been 2 months now and nothing!
After 1 week of going BR we were sent a letter saying that our OR did not wish to interview us at present and would we like to purchase BI. We sent off forms to say yes etc and now 2 months later have heard nothing except a call to say car is exempt and a letter saying we can keep all of our belongings.
My case is pretty straightforward. Nothing secured, just credit cards and loans amounting to just over £12k. Would like to know about an IPA though. Reallycant afford one as I am just so poor without credit! How I coped before I'll never know and going BR was definitely the best move. Love my new poorer life!

Hi TD

Nice to see you on here today ;-)

I would say that its a good thing about the non interview as such, as like you have said your case is straight forward and so easy to sort stuff out etc.

Maybe you could call your OR and ask if their is any news on the BI and also an IPA as if your really struggling now they may have to do a change of I&E for you.

You are not meant to be completely poor when you went BR, i know we dont have loads but you should not be struggling to meet your living costs.

As OH moved out now, if he has have you told the OR or are you wating for things to be more finalised before you let them know.

Anyhow you, i just also wanted to say HI, and catch ya soon.

PS I did email you a while back, heard nothing, but i dare say you have been very busy.

Take care

Jo

Hi,

Just read your blog and like you, I had a telephone interview by OR's assistant. He didn't need to speak to hubby either as everything was very straight forward and they even mentioned an early discharge in 6 months.
We are still quite poor too, but we can now afford to pay all the basics and actually buy clothes! I class clothes as a luxury now because we've been on an iva for the past year and they pushed up the amount so much that we never had enough money left.
Anyway that's it really, just don't worry about things and just remember your life can only get better from now on.

Thanks S2D, it feels so wonderful but not real yet!

Hi Jo, I didnt get any email from you petal, and I check them daily. can you send another please? Just a blank one so that we can check you have the right email addy.
Hubby still here. Poor lad been through the mill lately. Apart from marriage ending he has just lost one of his best friends suddenly and has been temporary laid off work! He is moving in with a friend in 3 weeks.

As for the OR........well I'm confused.
Think I will just wait until hubby has gone for good and tax credits are sorted etc and new bank account is the only bank account, before I write a big letter and explain everything.

As for the bloody Co-op. They said that they will sort out DD's and move everything over. Well two months later and its still not sorted. My wages went to Llyods resulting in council tax, water and house insurance being referred causing me £58.50 in charges! They even wrote me a patronising letter asking why I cant control my finances and that they would close my account if it continued!!!!!! $*&%^%$!!!!!!

Anyway, just sitting twiddling my thumbs. Dont think I will call as I dont have the £211 to buy BI anyway!!!

Hi TD

Just thinking you dont have to buy the BI now you can wait a bit for that.

I will email over again let me know if you get it.

Oh those banks they do my head in, but hey if we did not have those trials and tribulations life would be so boring, but you need your money to live so make sure you get that sorted out.

Anyhow mate i will do the email now.

Take care

Jo
