Hello Everyone,

Just thought I would let you know that as of Sunday November the 2nd 2008 - I am no longer a Bankrupt!!! I was discharged yesterday!

It was seriously the best thing that I have ever done, it is hard when you are thinking about going BR to know whether you have made the right decision or not, but believe me i certainly did. I feel like I have my life back, I now have a bank account, I didnt have to pay into an IPA, so all the money I have is mine and I have even started a savings account!!!

I am now in the process of writing to all of my creditors to get them to update my file and in turn my Credit Report.

So, good luck to all of you thinking about going BR, and all pf you who are going through it at the moment, the time really does fly and you will be free before you know it!!!

Thanks for all your help and advice and I will continue to post on the forum and try and help others with their queries!

Congratulations to you for making a decision to deal with the problem.

you can now look froward to a much brighter future without the burden & stress that once was there.

Well done!

Thanks so much for all of your replies....

Honestly, I couldn't wait to log on to the Insolvency Website and see that they had changed the status to now say "discharged on the 2nd Nov" - i showed all my housemates and they did a big cheer for me!

Feel like I am free now, to start saving and hopefully get a house one day - although obviously not in the current climate!!!

I will definately keep posting, this website has helped me immensely through the past 6 months or so...
