Hi Andy

it is really only court fines ( speeding, tv licence etc ), csa payments and student loan repayments that can't be included in Br

Hi

I assume your business is as a sole trader or partnership. If so then business rates are included.

If it is a limited company then your personal bankruptcy will not clear the outstanding business rate bill and you will also have to resign as a director.

Hi

the business rates cannot be included in personal bankrupty (we are talking limited companies again here) only if the company itself is being dissolved or liquidated.

John is correct here

the Ltd company is a legal entity in its own right so if you were to declare Br then the Ltd company would still be liable.

You also cannot be a director during Br.
