Hi Jo,

As a newbie on the forum I'm not sure it is my place to respond to your post about having a bad day... but I'm going to anyway

From an entirely selfish point of view, your responses to my first post on this forum was so welcoming that I instantly had a feeling of acceptance and community. That makes the difference between trying to battle through a difficult time alone or with a fantastic support network.

You have made a difference to me, and I'm a stranger, so I'd bet you make the world of difference to your friends and family!

Jez

Jo, please don't feel you've got nothing going for you. You're a great support to me and everyone else on this forum and it wouldn't be the same without you. I sometimes feel like that, and I can't even say I'm a wife and mother, unless you count Harry! Seriously, you've got a lot going for you and the forum wouldn't be the same without you.

If it makes you feel any better I've not had a great day - we've been away and next door's cat bit me until he drew blood, I had a fight with a bread knife and sliced 3 of my fingers and when I got home Harry scratched my face!

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

Hi Jo Thanks for your honesty whilst talking about your feelings. This time of year is particularly bad for many people. It can be a very "low" time for a lot of people. My daughter is particularly sensitive this time of year.

Being open about feelings is a good stategy, aknowledgement that we can have c**p days as well as magnificent ones.

It is great you are all supportive and open. It is very refreshing- especially in this current climate :-)

kind regards and best wishes Nick
