Are all debts covered by bankruptcy whether in the creditors section of the petition or not?

That is, if you forget a debt is the creditor obliged to look out for a Gazette advetisement to see if you have gone bankrupt?

I think all debts other than for student loans or fraud are covered even if they are not listed on the petition.

Any ideas?

Hi

yes all debts are covered. Obviously it's best to have them all listed on your SoA for the OR to deal with at the time.

But if a creditor appears out of the woodwork they should be referred to the OR.
