| My daughter has just gone Bankrupt. Thejudge was really lovely but the O F afterwards has been really insensitive. She is a very proud girl and it has all been to much for her, resulting in a breakdown, the question is can i talk to the reciever on her behalf. |

this may well be possible.
Speak to the examiner about it. If you get no joy seek to speak to a higher authority such as a deputy / assistant OR.

I just wanted to welcome you and to also add if there is anything else that we can help you with please do post on here.
I do hope that you get the result that you are looking for with regard to your daughter and that it all works out for you both in the end.
If she is worried about any stigma attached to the BR then tell her not to be, there are so many of us now that have gone down that road, that we have found that its not as bad as you think, infact it has taken courage to actually do something about the money worries that you have.
You will find there will be many people on here that will listen and advise as we do know where both yourself and your daughter are coming from.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel and i want to wish you all the very best.

I really hope you are able to speak with them on your daughters behalf. I know exactly what you mean i have one like that and once the shock and stress etc of br have cleared from her head then im sure she will start to feel a little stronger.
In the meantime i hope your daughter and yourself manage to cope with everything. If you need any more questions answered then just shout as we are all here for you both.
What a wonderful mum you are, she is very lucky.

Yes, you can be authorised to deal with this on your daughter's behalf. Please pass on my message that your daughter must see this as liberating and something to learn positively from. Perhaps when she feels like it she could read from this forum and see that there are so many in the same boat. There is a lot of advice available here from all of us and friendly professionals, too. Its important that your daughter knows that bankruptcy is not criminal and there should be no stigma. It tkaes a bit of getting used to but there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
Perhaps if we knew a bit about the circumstances of your daughter's case we could alleviate any doubts she has.
The examiners at the OR offices are usually quite friendly and this may not be as bad as it seems.
