Advantage have said we need to send keys back with a letter signed by both parties. Has anyone signed anything when you have sent keys back? Was just going to type letter out with typed names on both without signing.

What have others done?

Thanks - and wishing you all a happy debt free xmas and new year!!

x

Hi

signing your names to your own letter is fine.
(Keep a copy)

Just don't sign anything the lender may send you.

Hi GT

Our mortgage is with Advantage too! I spoke to them about 4 weeks ago and told them we were moving out in January and would be sending the keys back. They said they would make a note of that but that we needed to advise them now in writing stating we would be moving in January and to both sign the letter. Have not done that as yet.

Hi Dee,

They havent asked us to confirm we will be moving out, only to send the keys back when we have with a signed letter, stating we cant afford to keep it on.

I am moving 30th January, I know you are moving straight after xmas, good luck and let us know how you get on.

LOL (Getting There) x
